Born and raised in Porirua, Grace Hunter is gifted with speed, footwork, and on-court creativity inherited from a family of basketball aficionados spread across Aotearoa, Australia and the US.

A New Zealand age-grade representative and Junior Tall Fern, the Queen Margaret College graduate made the academic honour roll in her freshman year. She has been fine-tuning her game for the past 3 years in the US, recently as an undergraduate at Florida International University (FIU).

A high basketball IQ player, who can score at will and defend with plenty of zing, Grace will bring back-court leadership, court vision and a lot of swagger to this franchise in 2022.
